Thanks for the interest in i-Tech protein skimmers. I'm the owner of FISH and other ICHTHY stuff, a local fish store serving the Tampa Bay area of Florida for the last 15 years. The original intent of i-Tech was to offer an affordable, high quality skimmer line to local reefing community. Many versions were made; small to huge, standard cylinders to cone, and to mesh or not. The products quickly developed a following because of their reasonable price, ease of use, and most importantly, performance. Enthusiastic about his recent purchase, a customer created a thread on Reef Central showing off the new skimmer. The response to the "I-Tech skimmer club" has been overwhelming. Everyday hobbyists, coral farmers, large internet retailers, domestic and overseas manufacturers have all expressed interest in these American made products. Production capacity was not geared for national distribution and lack of suitable pumps has unfortunately caused delays in getting product to those who eagerly want it. Even though the cat was let out of the bag a little prematurely, the staff of FAOIS/i-Tech is doing their best to satisfy the ever growing demand. I greatly appreciate all the support you all have shown to me. With your continued patience, I promise to deliver an outstanding value for your hard earned cash.
